One of the greatest and favourite cartoon character Donald Duck was banned in Finland around 1977, Donald duck cartoon character was disappeared from the youth libraries and the reason for banning the this character was that it doesn't wear his pant.

But this is false, it was basically a rumour that Donald duck was banned in foreign country or in Finland. But real reality is that Helsinki (city of Finland ) found itself in a little financial problem, some local Liberal party representative a idea to discontinue the buying of Donald Duck comic for libraries of youth in favour of hobby and sport publications, luckily his idea was accepted.
after few months or year someone leaked out the word during election campaign about that party representative that he is the man who banned Donald duck. this words become the headline news. it also get negative impact in election  which make the Mr Markku ( that party representative) lose the election because he cant win from the  press.
after time passes more rumours were coming out that the reason for banning Donald Duck was he doesn't wear his pants. this was seriously becoming headline of many news channel including foreign channel also even also stated that it was the public stunt of Disney
